The event has been made possible thanks to sponsors who paid for all the costs; the Sponsors are Scholars School System, ANZ Training, Learning Curve Group and Novamille Properties. £4,200 has been raised from tickets, auction and raffle and all money raised, 100%, is raised directly towards charitable projects".
The Global Kidney Foundation's Annual Gala 2020 was a very successful event with excellent attendance, inspirational speeches from the trustees and organ recipients and wonderful performances, concerts, fashion show and ballet. Antimo Magnotta is internationally acclaimed, London's famous pianist, who is a resident pianist at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Antimo is our long-standing supporter who was a pianist at Costa Concordia, a ship that, like a modern Titanic, has sunk and Antimo has miraculously survived. Antimo spoke on BBC, many media and TedTalk about these experiences, and how he turned his life around after the accident. Antimo will share his inspirational story with us.
Mike Topolski, Stand up comedian and actor will make you laugh during stnad up comedy at the Event. Mike is well travelled stand up comedian, popular on London's scene, who writes excellent scripts each referring the event and the audience.
Olga Agro, is an accomplished operatic soprano based in London. Her repertoire extends from baroque to contemporary opera. In April 2020 Olga will play Francesca in Francesca da Rimini at Blackheath Halls, London. Olga sung with The Queen’s Guards Orchestra, Reading Symphony Orchestra and Windsor & Maidenhead Symphony orchestra and The Operetta Theatre Orchestra. She has performed at the notable venues such as London's Royal Festival Hall, The Queen’s House, Guards Chapel and Kings Place. Singapore's The House of Parliament, Jurmala's Dzintari Concert Hall and Riga's House of the Blackheads in Latvia.
Colin Roy, singer, songwriter and actor, jazz, swing, pop and soul. has starred in many award winning London West End shows such as Five Guys Named Moe after he was discovered by the casting director of The Lion King. Colin has his own recording studio where he writes and produces original songs for radio and television and is the creator of musical revue shows The Nat King Cole Musical Revue, Kings Of Capitol and Sweet Soul & Motown.
